BYD\'s first Japan-only kei EV Racco tops 1,000 orders in two weeks
BYD\'s Japan-only kei car-style electric vehicle Racco has surpassed 1,000 cumulative orders in two weeks after its launch, a notable result in a segment dominated by Japanese automakers. BYD said the early order pace is its fastest among its models released in Japan. About 80 percent of orders went to the Racco 300 Premium trim. Prices start at 2,145,000 yen, and government subsidies can lower the purchase price.
