XRPL expands AI agent payment network; cumulative total tops 13 million

XRP Ledger’s x402-based agentic payments have topped 13.41 million in cumulative transactions. RippleX engineering head J. Ayo Akinyele posted the latest figures on X, saying the total could reach 100 million sooner than the XRP community expects if the current trend continues. Data account t54 put the total at 13,417,943, with a seven-day daily average of 216,145. Active agents, x402 merchants and payable services also increased.

Flare CEO says XRPL lending market is underestimated

Flare CEO Hugo Philion (휴고 필리온) said the potential of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) lending market is larger than market expectations and that Flare will prove it through its infrastructure. He said Ripple CTO David Schwartz is underestimating XRPL lending scalability. Philion said XLS-66, an XRPL native lending protocol, is stalled at the validator voting stage, while Flare has built a structure to bypass it. He cited RLUSD loans approved against wrapped XRP collateral, while noting high market concentration.

XRP Ledger security alert: Do not enter private keys anywhere

Security warnings are growing among XRP Ledger users as unidentified projects increasingly ask people to enter private keys. Robert Kiuru, chief operating officer at XRPL Labs and Xaman, warned the XRP community not to share private keys under any circumstances. The alert comes as more so-called “vibe coding” projects emerge and as the XRPL ecosystem expands, with new decentralised applications and planned features raising security sensitivities.
