Korea Post launches Youth Future Savings offering up to 8.0 percent interest
Korea Post will launch its Youth Future Savings product on June 22 as a new participating provider of a government policy finance programme aimed at helping young people build assets. Eligible applicants are aged 19 to 34 and meet income requirements, with some small business owners also able to join if household income criteria are met. The three-year savings plan offers a base rate of 5.0 percent, with preferential rates and an event bonus lifting the maximum to 8.0 percent.

iM Bank recognised by Korea Post for e-green mail service collaboration
iM Bank said it received a citation from Korea Post’s Postal Service Headquarters for results from collaborating on an institution-linked e-green mail service. The bank said the service automates mail dispatch tasks previously handled manually and enables one-stop processing from mail production and delivery to result checks through a dedicated network with post offices. It said the system, introduced in 2024, reduced manual work and improved delivery accuracy and speed.

Postal Service Headquarters wins bronze at South Korea digital ad awards
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT Postal Service Headquarters said on Dec. 11 its “Repaying Swallow” advertising videos promoting Post Office Savings won bronze prizes at the 2025 Korea Digital Advertising Awards. The campaign won in the Digital Creative (digital video series) and AI Creative (AI visual) categories. The series uses AI to depict a swallow from the Korean folktale Heungbu-jeon and promotes features such as full deposit protection and mobile banking.
