An advertising series featuring the swallow, a symbol of the post office, won a bronze prize at the 2025 Korea Digital Advertising Awards.

The Ministry of Science and ICT Postal Service Headquarters said on Dec. 11 that its “Repaying Swallow” advertising video, planned to promote Post Office Savings, won bronze prizes in the Digital Creative (digital video series) and AI Creative (AI visual) categories, hosted by the Korea Digital Advertising Association.

The “Repaying Swallow” series uses AI to depict the swallow from the folktale Heungbu-jeon that repaid Heungbu by bringing him a gourd seed. It was produced with a concept in which the post office swallow repays today’s Heungbus who live diligently with good savings products.

The Postal Service Headquarters was evaluated as having wittily captured the post office’s biggest advantage of full deposit protection, along with various deposit products and services and its mobile banking app.

The Postal Service Headquarters explained that the series was meaningful in that it drew strong interest on the post office’s official social media channels and online platforms, enhancing the competitiveness of its promotional content for Post Office Savings.

Acting Postal Service Headquarters chief Kwak Byung-jin said, “Going forward, as the financial institution closest to people’s daily lives, the post office will promote various activities that repay customers and will continue to provide financial services that can be trusted.”
