Piolink says it aims to leap into cyber resilience technology company
Piolink on April 23 held the “Piolink Resilience Summit 2026” at The Westin Josun Seoul Parnas and underscored its identity as a technology company focused on strengthening cyber resilience. Chief executive Cho Young-cheol said resilience that sustains business during crises is central to corporate survival and growth. He said perfect defence is impossible and stressed maintaining services and rapid recovery after attacks.

Piolink steps up cooperation with Bigs Technology on AI-based autonomous security, to develop CTEM
Piolink said on Sunday it will strengthen cooperation with AI platform company Bigs Technology to develop next-generation security solutions. Piolink said it made a strategic investment in Bigs Technology late last year and is accelerating efforts to enhance intelligent security capabilities. The two companies plan to develop an AI agent-based Continuous Threat Exposure Management platform. Piolink also plans to apply Bigs Technology’s agentic AI technology to its security products and services.

Science ministry and privacy watchdog hold field meeting with cybersecurity firms
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission held a field meeting on April 9 with privacy and information security solution companies. The meeting, chaired by PIPC head Song Kyung-hee, included 15 firms and reviewed policy directions aimed at linking security investment demand to domestic industrial growth. Officials introduced key provisions of revised privacy and network laws taking effect in September and October and heard requests for clearer policies and expanded support.
