KakaoPay introduces AI spending report, upgrades benefits recommendations

KakaoPay said on Tuesday it has introduced a personalised spending report feature to its generative AI service PayAi. The company said the update expands the service from recommending the most advantageous payment method before a purchase to analysing spending patterns after payment. The new report analyses MyData-based transaction history on a weekly and monthly basis and provides tailored feedback, including calculations of benefits that could be saved.

Kakao Pay adds carrier membership benefit analysis feature

Kakao Pay said on Tuesday it has added a telecom carrier membership benefit analysis function to \'Find my benefits with AI\', a core feature of its generative AI service PayAi. The service analyzes a user\'s card spending performance and benefit conditions to recommend the most advantageous payment method. PayAi will analyze SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus membership information alongside card benefits to propose the maximum benefit combination at checkout.
