Dassault Systemes partners with Omron to integrate IT and OT, build virtual twin production systems
Dassault Systemes said on Tuesday it has formed a strategic partnership with industrial automation company Omron to bridge the gap between information technology and operational technology. The companies said the tie-up will help manufacturers and equipment makers design, simulate and build high-performance production systems using an approach that integrates virtual and real environments. They will combine Dassault’s 3D UNIV+RSES with Omron’s Sysmac platform to support the full process from design to deployment.

Dassault Systemes overhauls pricing model, considers AI performance-based charges
Dassault Systemes is revamping a software sales model it has used for decades, shifting away from charging by number of users. It is moving toward fees based on performance and value created by artificial intelligence, including work done by virtual users such as AI agents and AI companions. The new system combines three types of units, and the company is also reviewing performance-based charges tied to automatically designed outputs.

Pascal Daloz to also serve as Dassault Systemes chairman
Manufacturing software company Dassault Systemes said on Thursday that Bernard Charles told the board he would step down as chairman and as a board director for personal reasons. The board unanimously decided to appoint current Chief Executive Officer Pascal Daloz as chairman and chief executive officer from Feb. 21, 2026, following a recommendation from its Compensation and Nomination Committee. Daloz said he was honoured to take the role.
