Manufacturing software company Dassault Systemes said on Thursday that Bernard Charles (Bernard CHARLÈS) told the board he would step down as chairman and as a board director for personal reasons.
Dassault Systemes' board, following a recommendation from the Compensation and Nomination Committee, unanimously decided to appoint current Chief Executive Officer Pascal Daloz (Pascal DALOZ) as chairman and chief executive officer from Feb. 21, 2026.
“I am honoured to take on the role of chairman of Dassault Systemes in addition to my role as CEO,” Daloz said. “I am deeply grateful for Bernard’s trust, unwavering support and inspiration. We share the same vision of expanding the boundaries of science and imagination to transform the lives of consumers, patients and citizens, and of making the virtual world real. We also share a common conviction about the action plan to make that vision a reality,” he added.
