XRP underperformed major cryptocurrencies despite the Nasdaq listing of Ripple-backed Evernode Holdings. XRP fell 3 percent over the past 24 hours to $1.37, giving it a market value of about $86.4 billion. Evernode began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN after completing a merger and said it holds about 473 million XRP and generated about $300 million in cash inflows excluding transaction costs.

Evernos, a cryptocurrency treasury firm holding about 473 million XRP, is set to start trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN after completing a merger with Armada Acquisition Corp II. It raised about $300 million in cash before fees with participation including Ripple, SBI Group and others. CEO Ashish Birla outlined a strategy to generate returns by actively managing holdings, but the company said it will keep cost-minus-impairment accounting for XRP, which can make results asymmetric.
