Pump.fun to buy Vypr as memecoin revenue slumps, expand trading infrastructure
Pump.fun will acquire cryptocurrency trading terminal Vypr, Cointelegraph reported on Thursday. Vypr will cease operating as an independent service and move its core functions to the Pump.fun terminal. The acquisition is part of Pump.fun’s strategy to integrate trading workflows as memecoin activity declines. Pump.fun’s monthly revenue fell 77 percent year on year, while memecoin market capitalisation has shrunk to about $28 billion from more than $100 billion.
