PFCT, SNU computer engineering team disclose joint research results on AI credit scoring

PFCT said on Feb. 12 it carried out a 10-month joint study with a Seoul National University computer engineering research team led by Professor Byung-Ro Moon to expand AI credit-scoring methods. The study compared and tested algorithms using de-identified real financial data. The team applied the transformer deep-learning architecture to credit scoring and analyzed its characteristics and constraints. Some tests showed improved KS and recall in low-credit segments.

PFCT completes AI credit scoring academy

AI technology finance firm PFCT said it has wrapped up the third PFCT AI Credit Scoring Academy, held for five days at its headquarters in Seoul. The academy covered how financial AI is used across decision-making, including risk management and interest rate and limit strategies. Training focused on PFCT’s AIRPACK AI risk management solution and also covered the firm’s in-house AI agent platform and LLM use. Students from various majors participated, and top graduates may receive internship opportunities.
