Samsung SDS AI collaboration tool Brity Works adopted by nine central government ministries
Samsung SDS said on Aug. 13 that nine central government ministries, including the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Financial Services Commission and the Overseas Koreans Agency, will adopt its AI collaboration solution Brity Works. The ministries are set to start the service sequentially by August. Samsung SDS provides Brity Works as the official collaboration tool for the government’s OnAI platform.

Overseas Koreans to digitise financial power of attorney, process directly at banks without international mail
Inconvenience for overseas Koreans who had to send powers of attorney by international mail to handle banking in South Korea is expected to ease. The Overseas Koreans Agency, the Financial Services Commission and the Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute signed an MOU with eight financial companies to launch a digital consular-certified financial power of attorney service. The service will transmit certified documents electronically to banks and use a blockchain-based system to verify authenticity.
