Kim SeokjinLAB launches plant-based DHA drops for growing children
Kim SeokjinLAB is launching an oil-based omega-3 product for growing children as concerns rise over insufficient DHA intake among infants and toddlers. The company said it will begin selling “Our Child DHA Smart Drops” from Aug. 5 on Dr. Simone Mall and Naver Smart Store. The product uses plant-based DHA in triglyceride form and includes Korean perilla oil. A cited study found 91.8 percent of 12 to 24-month-olds fell short of recommended DHA intake.
