[Digital Today reporter Daegeon Seok] Premium probiotics brand Dsimone said on Monday it donated 200 units of its infant product, "Dsimone Baby Step 1", at the "KOBE Baby Fair" held on Aug. 6 at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Actor Go Woori (고우리), the event’s official ambassador, attended and delivered a message of support for single-parent families raising infants.
The "Baby On" campaign is a corporate social responsibility initiative designed to deliver warm support to pregnancy, childbirth and parenting families in local communities and help create a better environment for child-rearing. Dsimone said it will support single-parent families raising infants through the campaign. It plans to expand the campaign beyond Ilsan to areas including Daejeon and Daegu, developing it into a nationwide effort.
Hecto Healthcare also took part in the campaign and operated a booth for its premium baby and kids health food brand Kim SeokjinLAB during the same period at the venue. It introduced growth-stage nutrition solutions centred on its new product, "Our Child DHA Smart Drops", and said it worked to meet the needs of parenting families.
Kim Seokjin (김석진), chief executive of Hecto Healthcare, said creating an environment where children can grow up healthy is a social responsibility that companies must consider together. He said the company will continue to practise ESG management by pursuing various social contribution activities for children and families in need and working with local communities.
