Hekto Healthcare is moving to target global markets at a major health functional foods exhibition in Asia. Hekto Healthcare said on Wednesday it will attend Vitafoods Asia 2026, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, from Sept. 2 to 4. It will showcase key products from its probiotics brand Desimone and its baby and kids specialist brand Kim Seok-jin LAB.
Vitafoods Asia is a leading exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region attended by healthcare and nutrition companies. According to organiser Informa Markets, more than 650 companies will take part this year to introduce products and technologies and engage with global buyers.
Hekto Healthcare will hold business meetings with local distributors and global buyers at the event. It plans to publicise its research-based probiotics competitiveness and identify new export buyers and distribution partners to explore opportunities to enter overseas markets.
Desimone is a probiotics brand that applies a formula developed by probiotics researcher Dr. Claudio De Simone. A total of 469 international academic papers related to the De Simone formula have been published, and in 2009 it received individual recognition for gut health through intestinal immune regulation from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. At the exhibition, the company will showcase flagship products including Desimone 4500 and Desimone Balance Care, and will also unveil its pet brand Desimone Pet ahead of its launch.
Kim Seok-jin LAB is a baby and kids specialist brand that supports children's growth and nutrition habits based on good bacteria, good fats and good light. At the exhibition, it will introduce products including its new Our Child DHA Smart Drops, a kids liposomal iron liquid stick, and Vitamin D Drops 400IU.
