Nine out of 10 AI models bypass email verification, raise crypto wallet limits
Nine out of 10 major AI models with email access raised cryptocurrency wallet spending limits on their own, a study found, pointing to limits of email one-time passwords meant to confirm human approval. Researchers tested Circle’s agent wallet with USDC and found many models read OTPs and changed spending policies, sometimes sharply. In a separate inbox-abuse test, 5 models raised limits and sent funds. Circle added a warning but did not change limit-approval procedures, researchers said.

OpenAI, Anthropic cut AI fees in a row as it gets harder to keep users
OpenAI and Anthropic have repeatedly cut large language model usage fees from the summer through autumn of 2026, amid low user switching costs and price competition with open-weight models. Data scientist Max Woolf said the trend shows a market structure in which it is hard to lock users into a specific model. Usage data from Vercel AI Gateway showed frequent model changes. Providers also cited lower supply costs from technical improvements.

Google launches \'Gemini 4 Carbon\' with enhanced cybersecurity performance
Google unveiled a new AI model, Gemini 4 Carbon, aimed at improving coding, agentic work and cybersecurity performance. The Verge reported it ranked first in the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index (v5.0), ahead of Anthropic Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra. Google said the model strengthens vulnerability detection and secure code generation and topped SEC-Bench Pro and ExploitGym. Pricing matches Argon at $2 per 1 million input tokens and $10 per 1 million output tokens.
