Bamito Wi to provide 4.6 billion won for local and small broadcaster programmes in 2026
The Broadcasting Media Communication Commission said on Thursday it had selected 48 programmes from 21 broadcasters for its 2026 production support scheme for local and small broadcasters. The support budget totals 4.6 billion won, up 1 billion won from a year earlier. The selected works include locally focused regular and current-affairs reporting, programmes aimed at strengthening competitiveness, and new content formats. The commission also created a new locally focused radio category.

Samsung Electronics unveils immersive exhibition on design philosophy in Milan
Samsung Electronics will unveil an immersive exhibition at Milan Design Week 2026 exploring the relationship between technology and people. The company said it will present an exhibition titled “Design is an Act of Love” from April 20 local time, in a space run as the Samsung Design Open Lab. Samsung said the show examines the human side of technology through dialogue between concept designs and products. It will also hold a design talk with Dezeen on April 22.

Samsung Electronics supplies monitors to Milan Olympics short track venue
Samsung Electronics supplied high-performance monitors to the judging areas for short track speed skating at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. The company provided its ViewFinity S8 and Odyssey Ark monitors for the venue\'s field of play area and the Olympic video room, it said on Wednesday. The ViewFinity S8 installed for video reviews offers 4K UHD resolution on a 37-inch screen. The Odyssey Ark is a 55-inch curved display with fast response time.
