Nvidia\'s biggest weapon is its financial firepower, widening its lead
Nvidia is strengthening its influence in AI infrastructure investment by combining large cash reserves with outside capital. It is expanding financing support that underpins customers\' GPU purchases and data-centre construction. Nvidia unveiled a plan with Apollo, Blackstone and Goldman Sachs to bring in at least $500 billion in external capital. It is also discussing guarantees for an OpenAI data-centre project and backing AI-focused cloud providers and startups.

Nvidia AI conference GTC 2026 opens on March 17
Nvidia said on Wednesday it will hold GTC 2026, its AI and accelerated computing conference, in San Jose, California from March 16 local time, or March 17 in South Korea. More than 30,000 developers, researchers, business leaders and AI companies from about 190 countries are expected to attend. CEO Jensen Huang will deliver a keynote at SAP Center and introduce the company’s latest technologies across the AI stack.

Ricursive raises $300 million in Series A, says AI cuts chip design time
AI-based chip design startup Ricursive Intelligence has raised $300 million in Series A funding, SiliconANGLE reported on Jan. 26 local time. The round was led by Lightspeed, with Nvidia’s NVentures, DST Global and Felicis Ventures also taking part. Ricursive was valued at $4 billion in the deal. The company develops AI tools aimed at sharply reducing chip design times and plans to use the funds for hiring and infrastructure upgrades.
