KB Kookmin Bank to hire about 180 new and experienced staff in second half, expand regional talent
KB Kookmin Bank plans to hire about 180 new recruits and experienced staff in the second half of this year. It will select about 160 new hires across six areas including universal bankers, soon-to-be discharged officers, certified public accountants, ICT, specialised high schools and ESG shared growth. The bank will also recruit about 20 experienced specialists, including in AI and law. It aims to allocate at least 25 percent of UB hires to regional talent.

Kiwoom Securities awards 102 million won in scholarships to 51 university students
Kiwoom Securities has awarded scholarships to help university students from socially disadvantaged groups continue their studies. The company said it provided a total of 102 million won to 51 students. The Korea Student Aid Foundation selected 51 high-achieving students and will provide each with a 2 million won living-expense scholarship. A total of 6,475 applicants applied, a competition ratio of about 127 to 1.

KB Kookmin Bank launches first-half 2026 recruitment for entry-level bankers
KB Kookmin Bank said on Tuesday it will recruit entry-level bankers for the first half of 2026 to respond to changes in the financial environment and create new value. The hiring will cover about 110 people across five tracks: UB for corporate client finance and asset management, UB for regional talent, discharged officers, ESG shared growth, and veterans. Applications are due by March 25, with final results to be announced in June.
