SKT presents paper on AI inference model to find customers\' true preferences at global AI conference
SK Telecom said on April 28 it presented a paper at ICLR 2026 on an AI recommendation model designed to identify customers\' true preferences. The company said its proprietary Collision-Aware Preference Optimization technique filters out conflicting preferences in user behavior data. It defines long-term repeated patterns as consistent preferences and one-off clicks as superficial preferences, raising weights when they match and lowering them when they conflict.

KT AI papers listed at top global conferences, strengthens practical AI leadership
KT is strengthening what it calls practical AI competitiveness by applying its AI research results to actual services and linking technology with business. KT said it is reflecting secured technologies in major AI models and platforms such as \"Mi:um K\" and \"Agentic Fabric\" to deliver commercialisation results. Over the past 5 years, KT published 148 AI papers, including 49 listed at top global conferences. It is also expanding industry-academia research with major universities.

SKT presents \'thinking AI\' recommendation model at top AI conference
SK Telecom said its research on an AI recommendation model that understands personal behavioral context and explains why it makes recommendations was recognised at the international AI conference AAAI 2026 in Singapore. The paper was selected for an on-site presentation, given to about the top 4 percent of submissions, and included a poster presentation. The research covers the company’s LLM-based One Model version 4.0, including applying inference-capability reinforcement learning in a service environment.
