Neopulse forms investor consortium with Kings Net to acquire Wemade in October
Neopulse, which is pursuing the acquisition of Wemade, has formed an investor consortium with Chinese game company Kings Net and others. Neopulse plans to complete procedures to buy Wemade Chairman Park Kwan-ho\'s stake by Oct. 30 and become the largest shareholder. Wemade and Neopulse said the consortium signed a share purchase agreement on June 30 and is proceeding with steps including final payment and regulatory approval.

Korean game firms reshape leadership as mobile growth formula fades
Major South Korean game companies reshuffled top management and key organisations in the first half of this year, moving in different ways but with similar aims. Wemade chairman Park Kwan-ho says stake sale aims at bigger market push
Wemade Chairman Park Kwan-ho said a contract to sell all of his stake in the company was a decision to help it make a leap in bigger markets. Wemade said it signed a share purchase agreement for Park’s entire holding, worth about 920 billion won, led by global investment platform NeoPulse. Park said nothing changes immediately and he will continue to lead the company through the transition. He pointed to China and North America and Europe as key markets.
