MegazoneCloud joins second-year AI computing testbed infrastructure upgrade project

MegazoneCloud said on Wednesday it will participate as an integrated infrastructure operations operator in the “AI Computing Testbed Infrastructure Upgrade” project led by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency. The company will oversee integrated operations of a domestic NPU-based cloud infrastructure, including software development for NPU allocation and monitoring and building a user environment. The project is part of a 2025-2027 programme supporting early commercialisation of AI semiconductors and AX demonstrations.

Naver Cloud, Korea Siemens sign MOU to speed AI transformation in manufacturing

Naver Cloud said on Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Korea Siemens to accelerate artificial intelligence transformation in the manufacturing industry. The signing ceremony was held at Naver 1784 and attended by executives from both companies, including Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yu-won and Siemens Vice Chairman Cedrik Neike. The companies plan to jointly develop solutions, expand industrial AI and digital transformation offerings and pursue joint customer development.

Naver obtains ISO 22301 certification for disaster response

Naver has obtained an international standard certification for a crisis-response system designed to minimise service disruptions and enable rapid recovery during disasters. The company held an ISO 22301 certification ceremony on June 19 at its 1784 headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi province, it said. Key affiliates including Naver Webtoon and Naver Cloud participated. Naver said it standardised response processes by disaster type and will run regular drills and training.
