OpenAI has unveiled a new image generation feature, ChatGPT Images 2.0, and a comparison test of complex crowd illustrations rated it higher than rival models. Software engineer Simon Willison ran a Where\'s Wally-style prompt to hide a raccoon holding an amateur radio in a crowd. Older OpenAI, Anthropic and Google-linked models struggled with detail or placement. ChatGPT Images 2.0 placed the raccoon naturally at 3840x2160. A single image cost about $0.4.

Google launches Chrome browser in South Korea with latest AI features
Google said on Tuesday it will expand the rollout in South Korea of the latest Chrome features that help users explore information using AI. The update introduces Gemini in Chrome, supporting webpage summaries, information comparisons across tabs, assistance with drafting emails and image conversion. It is based on the Gemini 3.1 AI model and will be available first on desktop and iOS, with Android support allowing users to summon Gemini while using apps including Chrome.

Adobe launches Photoshop AI assistant
Adobe has released a beta version of its Photoshop AI assistant for web and mobile apps and is adding AI-based image editing features to Firefly, TechCrunch reported. The update lets users remove objects or people, change colors and adjust lighting, and perform edits through natural-language prompts. Paid Photoshop users can use the assistant without limits until April 9, while free users get 20 uses. Firefly is also gaining generative editing tools.
