Woori Bank is opening a consultation-focused channel, the Woori Ieum Consultation Centre, in major commercial areas of Seoul to strengthen tailored financial support for small business owners and office workers. The bank said it has set up three centres in key hubs including Namdaemun, Gangnam and Hongdae. The centres prioritise customer consultations over product sales and operate with extended hours on weekdays and weekends. They offer advice on loans, asset management and retirement planning.

Woori Financial Group said on Wednesday it held events marking its 25th anniversary at its head office history museum, \"Woori 1899\", and at a Goodwill store under the theme \"Roots of 1899, 127 years together\". The group, launched in 2001 and based on Woori Bank, traces its origins to Daehan Cheonil Bank founded in 1899. About 230 people attended, including Chairman Lim Jong-ryong and singer IU.
