NYSE Arca names XRP in crypto trust rule change, final call with U.S. SEC
NYSE Arca included XRP as an example of an eligible asset as it moved to revise listing standards for commodity-based crypto trusts. The proposal would require at least 85% of a trust’s net asset value to be held in crypto assets that already meet approved requirements, while allowing up to 15% in non-approved assets. The service will use a dedicated crypto account linked to Schwab’s brokerage platform, with custody handled by a subsidiary and trade execution processed through a partnership with federally regulated trust company Paxos. The rollout will be phased and initially excludes New York and Louisiana residents. Fees are set at 0.75 percent per trade.
