The Korea Research Foundation said on Thursday it has obtained an \"AI ethics compliance\" verification mark issued by the National Information Society Agency, becoming the first research management organisation to do so. The mark is awarded to institutions that meet set requirements to encourage ethical development and use of AI and strengthen accountability, with eligibility expanded to the public sector from this year. The foundation said it shared AI ethics principles across the organisation, trained employees and is introducing AI services across R&D management.
