Aeon steps up Physical AI logistics hub, cutting 39 workers a day
Japanese retailer Aeon has started full operations at a logistics hub using Physical AI to expand delivery automation. The facility sorts products and loads them by store, with Aeon aiming to raise its automation rate from about 50 percent to 80 percent by 2030. More than 90 robots, including 82 automated guided vehicles, support the workflow. Aeon said the hub cuts labour needs by about 39 people per day.
