Musinsa first-half operating profit 52.3 billion won, down 11.2 percent on year
Musinsa posted record first-half revenue as it expanded offline locations and grew overseas business, the company said on Sunday. On a consolidated basis, revenue rose 22.5 percent from a year earlier to 821.7 billion won, while operating profit fell 11.2 percent to 52.3 billion won. It cited higher costs and increased selling and administrative expenses tied to larger transaction volumes and investments. The company also reported a net loss related to accounting interest expenses for RCPS.

Musinsa Mujinjang Black Friday lifts online users by more than 70 percent
Musinsa said its summer regular event, \"Musinsa Mujinjang Black Friday\", is drawing customers by combining online and offline promotions. Average daily active users on its online store rose more than 70 percent from a week earlier during June 13 to 14, it said. Visitors to its Musinsa Mega Store Seongsu rose 30 percent on June 14, while transaction value increased more than 40 percent.

Musinsa accelerates \'Next Beauty\' push with offline expansion
Musinsa Beauty\'s offline stores helped raise online transaction value for brands that moved in, it said. Average daily online transaction value for about 500 brands that entered a permanent beauty shop at Musinsa Mega Store Seongsu last month rose about 35 percent from before the move-in period. Several brands posted triple-digit growth. Musinsa Beauty plans to open additional offline beauty stores in Seongsu and Hongdae in September and November.
