Two Samsung home appliances win Forbes smart home award
Two Samsung Electronics home appliances were named winners in a U.S. consumer media smart home evaluation, the company said on Oct. 12. Samsung said its Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator and Moving Style portable screen were included in Forbes Vetted\'s 2026 Smart Home Award selections. Forbes Vetted created the awards for the first time this year, selecting 50 products across seven categories after months of testing in real living spaces.

KT to host World Cup street viewing in Gwanghwamun, expand customer benefits
KT will hold 2026 World Cup street-viewing events at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on June 12, 19 and 25 with the Red Devils and the Korea Football Association. Working with JTBC, it will broadcast South Korea’s World Cup qualifiers live on two large media walls at the KT Gwanghwamun Building West. KT will also run promotions through July 19, offering cheering goods, prize draws and sign-up events for customers.

Samsung to reshape TV viewing with Vision AI Companion platform
Samsung Electronics is adding an AI platform and voice-based search and control features across its 2026 TV lineup, aiming to redefine TVs as screens that respond and understand context. It unveiled the Vision AI Companion integrated AI platform and included Bixby, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. The company also expanded screen size options and form factors, introduced AI viewing and sound features, and expanded content offerings through Samsung TV Plus and new audio and multi-angle functions.
