Two Samsung Electronics home appliances were named winners in a smart home evaluation by a U.S. consumer media outlet. Samsung said on Oct. 12 that its Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator and Moving Style portable screen were included in the winner list for the 2026 Smart Home Awards selected by Forbes Vetted, a product-review outlet of Forbes in the United States.

Forbes Vetted created the Smart Home Awards for the first time this year and selected 50 products across seven categories, including kitchen and appliances, cleaning, home office and home entertainment. Category experts tested hundreds of products in real living spaces over seven months, and winners were selected through that process, the company said.

The Bespoke AI Family Hub was introduced first in the list of 50 award winners released last month. It was the only refrigerator to make the list. Forbes Vetted said it was an excellent refrigerator based on its storage layout and a beverage center that includes a water dispenser and an auto-fill water pitcher. It also introduced the front-facing 32-inch screen as supporting a calendar, web browser, weather, photo gallery and music.

Its interior camera feature was also evaluated. The description said users can check ingredients inside the refrigerator while shopping through Samsung's mobile app, helping with grocery shopping and ingredient management. The product was also named the overall best in evaluations for best smart refrigerator in October last year and best refrigerator in May this year.

Moving Style won in the home office category. It allows height adjustment and screen rotation to portrait mode, and users can stream content directly from the monitor or watch live channels and on-demand content via Samsung TV Plus. It costs under $900. In August, it was named the best 4K wheel stand monitor in PCMag's 2026 best 4K monitor evaluation.

Tech analyst Avi Greengart said it was "an ideal display that can be used for both work and leisure spaces, with height adjustment and a rotation function for watching short-form and vertical video."
