AI data centre grid code to be introduced this year; Cho Kyung-tae says exemptions needed for existing projects

Sh Suhyup Bank has launched the Everyone\'s Green Card, which offers up to 20 percent of public transport spending back as Eco-Money points, depending on the previous month\'s usage. AI waste disposal app \'Gajyeoga\' to launch pilot service in Seoul district

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment said they will begin a pilot run of the AI-based waste disposal support app \'Gajyeoga\' in Seoul\'s Eunpyeong district from Oct. 13. The app identifies waste items from photos, provides local disposal instructions using GPS, and enables applications and fee payments for bulky waste collection. The government will assess accuracy, convenience and stability before expanding in stages.
