Fintech firm Finger acquires Michelo Robotics, enters physical AI market
South Korean fintech company Finger said on Thursday it has acquired industrial robot intelligence company Michelo Robotics and will enter the physical AI business. Finger signed a deal to buy Michelo Robotics for 16 billion won by purchasing 500,000 existing shares held by CEO Jang Jun (박장준) and others. Michelo Robotics develops technologies that automate surface-treatment processes and provides a no-code platform integrating control of different robot hardware.
