MetaBora Games to come under Ludicnova, Kakao Games and LINE Games set to join
The BORA ecosystem is shifting to a joint consultative decision-making structure in which multiple game and content companies discuss key business directions together. The BORA team said the shareholder of MetaBora Games, the ecosystem operator and token issuer, will change from MetaBora to Ludicnova Holdings. Kakao Games and LINE Games are expected to participate, with a total of 4 to 6 companies. The change will not affect existing BORA tokens or tokenomics.

Kakao Games targets SM fans with detailed recreation in SMiniz
Kakao Games is launching SMiniz, a mobile match-3 puzzle game based on SM Entertainment intellectual property, aiming to expand digital fan activity. Developer Metabora says it analyzed fan sites and videos to recreate artists’ features and built systems reflecting offline fandom habits such as photo card collection, decoration and sharing. A closed beta test in December showed relatively strong retention and stage completion rates. The game supports six groups and targets a global release in the first quarter.

KakaoGames starts pre-registration for SM Entertainment IP-based \'SMiniz\'
KakaoGames said on Monday it has started global pre-registration for \'SMiniz,\' a new title based on SM Entertainment\'s intellectual property. The pre-registration runs through Feb. 23 in markets including South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, North America and Europe. KakaoGames will also open an official brand page for sign-ups. The company is preparing for a formal launch in the first quarter of this year and will handle global publishing and service.
