Kakao Games targets SM fans with detailed recreation in SMiniz

Kakao Games is launching SMiniz, a mobile match-3 puzzle game based on SM Entertainment intellectual property, aiming to expand digital fan activity. Developer Metabora says it analyzed fan sites and videos to recreate artists’ features and built systems reflecting offline fandom habits such as photo card collection, decoration and sharing. A closed beta test in December showed relatively strong retention and stage completion rates. The game supports six groups and targets a global release in the first quarter.
