Woori Bank and Korea Institute of Finance launch \'Recognized Store\' project for micro self-employed

Woori Bank is launching a \'Recognized Store\' project with the Korea Institute of Finance to support micro self-employed business owners by strengthening store competitiveness. The programme will identify business owners with growth potential and provide promotion, consulting and customer-participation events to revitalise stores. It will select 20 eligible owners and offer certification plaques, stickers, marketing support and tailored consulting, including mentorship links with Good Influence Store members.

LG Display to run free job training linked to K-New Deal Academy

LG Display will run a free job training program for unemployed young people by joining the K-New Deal Academy project promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The company will recruit 100 trainees aged 34 and under through its newsroom website until July 16. Training will run for about three months from August and is open to non-majors. Trainees will receive a monthly allowance of 300,000 won.

Woowahan Brothers\' Baemin Academy surpasses 350,000 total students 12 years after opening

Baemin Academy, a free education centre run by Woowahan Brothers for restaurant owners using the Baedal Minjok platform, has surpassed 350,000 cumulative students. The company said total enrolment reached 357,174 as of late April, up by about 50,000 in a year. Opened in 2014, the academy offers theory, hands-on training and consulting via offline centres and online courses. It is expanding practical AI training and plans to improve programmes and access.
