AI coding agents reshape how junior developers are trained

The spread of AI coding agents is changing not only how code is written but also how junior developers are trained, speakers at an AWS briefing in Seoul said. They said the traditional senior-junior mentoring structure is weakening as both levels work with AI agents. Developers’ roles are shifting from writing code to guiding agents and focusing more on design, communication and product understanding, with changes also emerging in hiring interviews.

Woori Bank is launching a \'Recognized Store\' project with the Korea Institute of Finance to support micro self-employed business owners by strengthening store competitiveness. The programme will identify business owners with growth potential and provide promotion, consulting and customer-participation events to revitalise stores. It will select 20 eligible owners and offer certification plaques, stickers, marketing support and tailored consulting, including mentorship links with Good Influence Store members.

LG Display to run free job training linked to K-New Deal Academy

LG Display will run a free job training program for unemployed young people by joining the K-New Deal Academy project promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The company will recruit 100 trainees aged 34 and under through its newsroom website until July 16. Training will run for about three months from August and is open to non-majors. Trainees will receive a monthly allowance of 300,000 won.
