Google to take on South Korea AI market with Gemini Enterprise
Google is targeting South Korea\'s AI market by promoting the full-stack structure of Gemini Enterprise and its compatibility with other companies\' models. Ruth Sun (루스 선), CEO of Google Cloud Korea, said Google’s ownership of all layers from chips to models and support for more than 200 models, including Anthropic’s Claude, delivers strong return on investment. She cited Samsung Electronics’ DX division as a user. Google also highlighted security offerings and growing AI use in marketing and sales.

Oracle warns of PeopleSoft zero-day flaw; hacking group claims over 100 organisations breached
Oracle has warned customers about a serious security vulnerability in its PeopleSoft human resources and payroll software, TechCrunch reported on June 11. The warning followed claims by cybercrime group ShinyHunters that it breached more than 100 organisations using PeopleSoft servers. Google-owned threat intelligence firm Mandiant said the flaw matches a bug ShinyHunters is exploiting. Oracle has not released a patch and urged customers to apply mitigations.

Wiz under Google evolves into security graph-based multi-cloud security platform
Google Cloud-linked security company Wiz confirmed a direction to position itself as a core player in multi-cloud security at the Cloud Next 2026 event, Techzine reported. Wiz highlighted an expansion of the Wiz Security Graph, adding support for Databricks and agent studio platforms including AWS AgentCore, Gemini Enterprise, Microsoft Azure Copilot Studio and Salesforce Agentforce. It also integrated with Cloudflare, Akamai, Vercel and Google Cloud Apigee.
