Apple effectively acquires Huxe founded by Google NotebookLM developers, expansion into AI podcasts?
Apple has signed a deal to secure staff and technology from personalised audio startup Huxe, TechCrunch reported. Apple disclosed the arrangement in documents submitted to the European Commission. Under the deal, Apple will offer jobs to some Huxe employees and receive a non-exclusive licence to Huxe intellectual property. Huxe was founded by developers who built Gemini Notebook’s AI podcast feature and has ended its service.
