A report said Apple is preparing a low-priced MacBook.
TechCrunch reported on March 3, citing MacRumors, that Apple could launch a new "MacBook Neo" and that it may be unveiled along with this week's new product announcement.
The product would have lower specifications than existing MacBooks and a cheaper price. It is also expected to offer multiple colour options.
MacRumors said Apple hinted at a possible launch by accidentally posting documents related to the "MacBook Neo" on its website.
The MacBook Neo is said to lower its price by using an iPhone chip instead of an M-series chip. The report also raised the possibility that green, blue and yellow colours shown in the logo for Apple's event could be applied.
