Apple to make Mac mini in U.S., opens Houston plant to produce AI servers

Apple is opening a new manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas, and will produce Mac mini desktop computers there from later this year. Part of the site is already assembling AI servers for Apple. Chief Executive Tim Cook attended the opening event with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and other officials. Apple plans to run the site as a manufacturing center offering free education and training programs for companies.
