Anthropic posts then deletes job ad for Meta-dedicated sales role with pay up to $450,000

Anthropic was reported to have posted and then quickly removed a job listing for a sales role dedicated to Meta. The position, titled “Mega Account Executive, Meta,” carried a salary range of $380,000 to $450,000. Anthropic deleted the posting after questions from Business Insider, and neither company issued a separate statement. The listing has renewed attention on a relationship in which Meta is both a major user of Anthropic’s AI services and a competitor developing its own AI models and products.

Samsung Securities enters commercial paper business after 9 years, gets final FSC approval

Samsung Securities will enter the commercial paper business after nine years after South Korea\'s Financial Services Commission gave final approval. The company first applied in 2017 but failed repeatedly due to issues including major shareholder eligibility and possible sanctions. Its review was halted again last year amid potential penalties linked to regulators’ inspections. With sanctions set at an “institutional warning” in July, the review resumed. The number of licensed issuers rises to eight.

CJ ONE adds over 124,000 new members in two months through Wonder Series promotion

CJ ONE, a lifestyle membership programme run by CJ OliveNetworks, secured about 124,000 new members over roughly two months through its Wonder Series promotion. The company said the event drew 1.1 million unique visitors over the same period. It added that Wonder Week campaigns with Tous Les Jours and Mega MGC Coffee in July and August logged more than 340,000 coupon downloads. In August, members who earned or used points at least once rose 63 percent from a year earlier.
