[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] MegazoneCloud, an AI, cloud and security company, said on Sunday it operated a joint pavilion branded the “Korea Game Innovation Hub” at Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026. The event was held from Oct. 29 to 30 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, with the Korea AI and Software Industry Association (KOSA).
MegazoneCloud opened the joint pavilion with KOSA and selected 10 small and mid-sized companies to support their expansion into Thailand and the ASEAN market.
MegazoneCloud hosted a private networking event, “Mega Night,” at the Carlton Hotel Bangkok on Oct. 28, the day before the event. About 60 people attended, including participating companies and officials from Thailand’s game industry, and discussed local market trends and the potential for business cooperation.
The programme is part of a large and small company joint overseas expansion support project promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Large & Small Business & Rural Cooperation Foundation. MegazoneCloud is the organiser and KOSA is in charge of implementation.
MegazoneCloud said it will continue to support follow-up consultations and identify opportunities for cooperation so participating companies can connect to actual exports, technology verification and business partnerships even after the support programme ends.
Lee Ju-wan (이주완), chairman of MegazoneCloud, said, “For small and mid-sized companies to make a real overseas expansion, it is very important to go beyond one-off participation in an exhibition, accurately understand local demand, and find suitable local customers and partners.” He said the company will actively support KOSA in helping competitive South Korean AI and software small and mid-sized firms secure local customers and partners, including by providing partnerships with global big tech companies based on MegazoneCloud’s global hubs and AI and cloud expertise and by using KOSA’s industry networks among countries and associations.
