Samsung Display unveils RGB OLEDoS for XR devices, targets smart glasses market
Samsung Display has unveiled display technology aimed at the next-generation smart glasses market. It said it will present an RGB OLEDoS lineup for mixed reality headsets and smart glasses at AWE USA 2026 in Long Beach, California. The company showed a 1.3-inch product with peak brightness of 40,000 nits and a 0.62-inch prototype. It also introduced concept displays, including stretchable and wide-field LFD products.

Orders line up for Tesla Semi, electric truck race effectively over
Tesla\'s heavy-duty electric truck, the Semi, is moving beyond pilot operations after securing orders in the hundreds, particularly in U.S. port logistics. Electrek reported California-based logistics and charging infrastructure firms are signing contracts, including WattEV\'s 370-truck deal and additional orders through Forum Mobility. Buyers plan to deploy the trucks for port drayage around Los Angeles, Long Beach and Oakland, citing predictable routes, dedicated charging hubs and lower lifetime costs than diesel.

Chabi enters California electric vehicle charging market
Chabi, a fast-charging electric vehicle services company, has entered the U.S. energy market in California. It signed an agreement with SPT, a clean energy, energy storage and AI energy group, to build ultra-fast EV charging infrastructure and supply integrated energy solutions. The partners set a three-stage roadmap through 2030, targeting more than 3,000 chargers. Chabi also opened a U.S. office and warehouse in Riverside.
