Litecoin marks 15 years of uninterrupted operations as ETF conversion accelerates

Litecoin has operated without interruption for 15 years since its genesis block, drawing renewed attention to its network durability and prospects for broader institutional products. On-chain data showed about 156,000 daily transactions as of Oct. 7, while MWEB pool size topped 563,000 LTC. Grayscale runs the Grayscale Litecoin Trust (LTCN) and filed an amended application in September to convert it into a spot ETF listed on NYSE Arca. SEC approval remains undecided.

Litecoin chart mirrors pre-breakout patterns of XRP and QNT, analyst says

Litecoin is showing a pattern similar to the long-term price structures that XRP and Quant formed before a past bull market, an analysis said. A market research community, Ultimate Crypto, pointed to cases where XRP and QNT surged after breaking out of multi-year symmetric triangle consolidations. The analysis cautioned that Litecoin has not yet broken its long-term downtrend resistance line and that past gains in XRP and QNT cannot be applied directly to Litecoin because of differences in market capitalisation and supply structure.

XRP market cap nears 6 percent of bitcoin, can it regain peak status

XRP’s market capitalisation has climbed to near 6 percent of bitcoin’s, according to figures cited by The Crypto Basic. Grayscale Investments put XRP at almost 6 percent of bitcoin’s value based on 30-day average market caps using data from Artemis, FTSE Russell and Grayscale. As of Sept. 28, bitcoin’s market cap was about $1.678 trillion and XRP’s was $94.08 billion, or about 5.6 percent. Grayscale classed bitcoin as a core asset and XRP as a supplementary candidate.
