Naver Cloud supplies Line Works collaboration tool to Hsinchu City in Taiwan
Naver Cloud said on Sept. 7 that its collaboration platform Line Works has been adopted as the official collaboration tool for Hsinchu City in Taiwan. Line Works is the overseas service name for Naver Works. The company said the rollout marks Line Works’ first large-scale cooperation case with a Taiwan administrative body. Naver Cloud said it plans to expand its business to other local governments and public institutions in Taiwan.

Naver to link search and purchases with \'action AI\', profit ramp-up in H2
Naver is making a shift to connect search to transactions a core task this year, focusing on building an uninterrupted flow from search to purchases and reservations around what it calls “action AI”. The company posted first-quarter revenue of 3.24 trillion won and operating profit of 541.8 billion won. It plans to test generative AI ads tied to shopping and local services from the second quarter and begin full monetisation in the third quarter.

Naver Q1 operating profit rises 7.2 percent as AI, C2C drive results
Naver posted record first-quarter results, helped by the application of artificial intelligence technology and the expansion of its global consumer-to-consumer ecosystem. The company said quarterly revenue rose 16.3 percent from a year earlier to 3.24 trillion won and operating profit increased 7.2 percent to 541.8 billion won. Naver also revised its revenue categories from the first quarter, and said C2C and enterprise businesses supported growth.
