Trump to impose up to 100 percent tariffs on drones and aircraft parts, 15 percent for South Korea
U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States will impose 100 percent tariffs on large drones and related parts and 25 percent tariffs on other drones. The measures also cover existing drone and parts imports into the United States and could affect the broader supply chain. Some countries, including the European Union, Japan, Liechtenstein, South Korea, Switzerland and Taiwan, receive a 15 percent rate, while Britain faces 10 percent, subject to strict origin requirements.

BNY Mellon subsidiary joins MiCA register as ESMA adds 15 providers
The European Securities and Markets Authority added 15 crypto-asset service providers to the MiCA register, lifting the total number of registered entities to 309. The update includes BNY SA/NV, a Belgian subsidiary of BNY Mellon, along with four banks and digital asset platforms. It was the third post-deadline update since the July 1 transition date. Registrations rose most in Germany and Denmark, with three additions each.

ESMA adds 14 CASPs to MiCA register, slowing pace of licence growth
The European Securities and Markets Authority added 14 crypto asset service providers to the MiCA register, bringing the total number of registered firms to 294. Cointelegraph reported the update was the second to the register since the end of MiCA’s transition period. The previous update on July 3 added 37 CASPs. Cointelegraph said the pace of licence expansion appears to be slowing after an initial surge.
