Display industry big two set for divergent Q4 results, positive 2026 outlook
South Korea’s two biggest display makers are expected to post contrasting results for the fourth quarter of 2025. Samsung Display’s operating profit is seen rising on stronger shipments of small and mid-sized OLED panels. LG Display is expected to fall short of estimates as restructuring-related one-off costs weigh on earnings. Analysts see both companies maintaining a positive outlook for 2026, with Samsung supported by small OLED dominance and LG helped by portfolio changes and LTPO competitiveness.
