Koo Kwang-mo wins first trial in LG family inheritance lawsuit
LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo won a first-instance ruling in a lawsuit over the inheritance of the late former chairman Koo Bon-moo’s estate. The Seoul Western District Court dismissed a claim brought by Koo Bon-moo’s wife Kim Young-sik and his two daughters, Koo Yeon-kyung and Koo Yeon-soo, seeking a redivision of inherited assets. The case was filed in February 2023.
