Coupang says top-efficiency appliance rebates total 22.75 billion won, largest among online channels
Coupang said on March 30 that customers who bought products on its platform received rebates worth 22.75 billion won through the government’s “top-efficiency appliance rebate programme” run from July to December last year. It said the figure is estimated at about 20 percent of total rebates across online distribution channels over the same period, the largest for a single distributor. The programme refunds 10 percent of purchase costs, capped at 300,000 won per person.
