Webcash builds rERP systems for Korean Register and KATRI Testing Laboratory
Webcash has built its research administration integrated system, rERP, for Korean Register and KATRI Testing Laboratory, extending its business beyond university industry-academia cooperation foundations to testing, inspection and certification bodies and research-focused hospitals. The company said it completed the latest deployment at KATRI after one at Korean Register in March. It said rERP integrates research task, budget, accounting, HR and IP management and reflects changes in research funding rules.

Ecopro HN develops large ammonia ship emissions cleaning system
Ecopro HN said it has secured a key technology for commercialising ammonia-powered ships after developing a megawatt-class ammonia engine emissions purification system with HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering and the Korean Register. It said the system uses microwave heating to directly heat the catalyst and precisely control activation temperature, helping minimise fuel consumption and avoid installing separate devices for fossil fuels. The company plans further verification and commercialisation.
