South Korea launches pilot app to compare fresh produce prices nearby
South Korea will roll out a grocery shopping service that uses AI to recommend where to buy fresh agricultural and livestock products. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Science and ICT said they launched a pilot version of the “Alttulhagae Jangboljido” app and held a ceremony. The app provides location-based price and discount information and offers AI chat-based recipe and store recommendations. The pilot will run in five cities.
